This Sunday, Pastor presented a sermon titled:
What In The World Is God Doing Pt.5
"The Death of a Winner"
"This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:
"He took our illnesses and bore our desieses."
This verse happens right after Jesus heals Peter's mother-in-law, and casts out demons from many who were suffering.
THE POINT IS:
1.) COMPASSION:
Jesus cares about our physical and emotional suffering.
He invites us to bring all our suffering and fears to Him.
2.)HOPE BEYOND OUR SUFFERING: while our bodies still struggle with illness and pain...this verse guarantees that one day we will be completely healed.
3.) PRAY FOR HEALING: go ahead and ask Christ for deliverance and healing. HE IS WITH YOU RIGHT NOW!
He may say no, or not yet, but He may say "BE HEALED"! "TRUST JESUS..He Loves you.
